The New Jersey Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission is proud to host our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative event. This year’s program will include guest speakers, music, arts, and a Law Enforcement & Community Relations— Police Encounters Panel Discussion, all of which will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King as well as commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball.
This is a FREE event and is open to the general public. So invite your friends, families, colleagues, neighbors, and whoever you believe will be interested in attending an event that reminds us that justice, equality, and peace are attainable. Dr. King said, “We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right.” So please take the time to join us at this year’s commemorative event!
