East Coast Greenway National Trails Day Bike Ride on the D&R Canal, June 4

Join the East Coast Greenway for a free, 8-mile, family-friendly bike ride down the D&R Canal towpath on Saturday, June 4, National Trails Day!

The D&R Canal towpath is part of the East Coast Greenway’s 3,000-mile route connecting cities from the Canadian border in Maine down to Key West, Florida.

The bike ride on June 4 will begin at 2 p.m. at Turning Basin Park (the canal towpath and Alexander Road in Princeton) and continue 4 miles to the historic Brearley House in Lawrenceville. After a short break, we’ll bike back. Please arrive at Turning Basin at 1:45 p.m. so we can leave promptly at 2 p.m.  Don’t forget your water bottle and (if you need one) a snack.

The ride is free – please reserve a ticket to RSVP. And we invite you to join as a new ECGA member for a special $20 rate!

Participants must wear a helmet on this ride and children should be accompanied by an adult rider.
